Generous donors lend a helping hand to ABH

Following the robbery at the Aryan Benevolent Home, earlier this month, a fundraising golf day was held to accumulate much needed funds for the local organisation.
The funds were required to build a wall to not only protect residents of the home but also prevent calamities in the future. Over R200, 000 was raised towards the building of the fall in less than half an hour at the Papwa Sewgolum Golf Course.
Each panel which was marked for R2500 will be in remembrance of the donor’s loved ones. During the special dinner following the golf day, entertainment was provided by Neville Pillay and former councillor, Logie Naidoo. A prize giving ceremony thereafter took place followed by a delicious dinner.
